Where Itô fits
Itô is a financial intelligence layer, not an ERP. Keep the systems that run your business. Bring their financial records, schedules and assumptions into a connected view of your position and the decisions ahead.
Your operational foundation
Continue to manage transactions, the general ledger, receivables, payables and daily operations in your existing systems.
Your financial perspective
Examine cash flow and financial statements together. Create scenarios for different collection timing or spending plans, then compare them against the base forecast.
ERP and planning tools can also forecast. Itô’s focus is making the basis, uncertainty and judgment behind a financial decision visible.
Why Itô
The value is in what you can explain. What supports this number? What is still uncertain? Who made the call? Itô keeps those questions inside the financial model.
Follow a reading to the record, schedule or assumption behind it. Distinguish settled cash from a contractual commitment or an expectation before acting on the total.
Missing information stays distinct from zero. When a judgment and the model disagree, both remain visible so your team can examine the difference.
An override carries a reason and an owner. Review the decision in context and explore a different assumption while preserving the base forecast.
Before the board meeting. Before a financing decision. Before committing cash.
Getting started
Onboarding is a guided process with your finance team. We agree what the model needs to answer, establish its basis, and make sure your team can run the next refresh.
Practical questionsDefine the business, reporting periods and decisions to support. Name the finance owner and agree the outputs and checks needed for acceptance.
Review the relevant accounting records, bank activity, open invoices and schedules. Map them to the model with your team, keeping gaps and ambiguous items visible.
Check statements and historical cash against their sources. Resolve material differences with your finance owner before relying on the affected outputs.
Work through receipt and payment timing, commitments and named assumptions. Review the cash outlook and scenarios, including what the available evidence cannot yet tell you.
Run the next refresh together. Establish who supplies data, reviews exceptions and approves changes, so the model becomes part of your team’s operating rhythm.
Before we begin
Start with your current accounting and bank reports. Depending on scope, we may also need open receivables and payables, payroll timing, debt schedules and recurring commitments. We agree the minimum relevant sources together.
We review your systems and agree how each source will reach Itô. Supported file uploads can provide a starting point. Connector availability and any additional integration work are confirmed during scoping.
The timeline depends on source readiness, reporting scope and the reconciliation work required. We agree milestones after reviewing those inputs. A usable first model and a repeatable refresh are the measures of readiness.
